Nikki Sivils and Ribbon Carousel Blog Hop

My Bookworm

I have been having fun lately doing monochromatic layouts,so I picked out all of the greens in the School is Cool collection (with a little bit of yellow) for this layout and used the ruler ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.

I added the black twine to this handmade tag.

 I also made this card:

I used a beautiful striped ribbon for this teacher's card.

Thank you so much to the ladies at the Ribbon Carousel for sending me such pretty things to play with :) Love them all :)

Happy Friday everyone !! I'm posting a few Nikki Sivils projects on the blog today .They were all created with the School is Cool collection from last Summer's CHA release (Nikki has taken a little break this season). I just love this one ,it was new too me and I had so much  fun with it !!

Some Nikki Sivils projects

Happy Saturday !!! So glad it's the weekend and it going to be beautiful !! Poor Gabriel does indeed have the chicken pox :(....hoping Felix won't :). They both had the vaccination, so it shouldn't be too bad .

Basically Bare Mini Album

Yes, you read it right  I . MADE . A . MINI. ALBUM !!!!! Kristine, if you are reading this ...you were right , I can do this, not as good as you, but here it is !!!
The Nikki Sivils design team were given a generous supply of Basically Bare goodies a few months ago and we were asked to create something for today's blog post over on the Nikki Sivils blog.

We just came back from Disney and it was my kids first time flying, so I thought to create a mini album about their first flight . The Exit Here collection was just perfect for this project.

This photo was taken at 6 am !!! (we had to get up at 4:30 ).

I used the Basically Bare gears on this clear page and decorated both sides.

Here's the other side.

I think Felix was a little nervous on this photo :)

Tess-Tess ( little sheep) made the trip with us !

as well as Gabriel's "Grimace" collection !!

I stored a few extra photos and the kids  Disney access cards in the large kraft envelope.

I did remove the canvas page of this book and hand cut a star out of the fabric.

Having fun with PSA Essentials

Happy Easter everyone !!! I totally forgot to post this yesterday....I was busy getting my Disney surprise ready (my kids found out this morning that they are going to Disney World in 3 weeks) !!! Best Easter egg hunt ever !!
Just look at them :) I've kept this a secret since last summer !! So glad it's finally out !!

 

Now on to scrapbooking !!!! PSA Essentials sent the Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker design team  a fun stamper and peel and stick stamps to play with this month. I had never even heard of them and  just loved,loved,loved to use that stamper (I felt like a school librarian-stamp,stamp,stamping on paper !!!)

 

 I decide to use the cute little dress stamp and the Audrey collection for this Mother's Day gift bag and tag:)

Here's a close up of the tag :) I also used some twine from the Twinery .

This one was created with the Messages collection. I thought it would be fun to created a school layout with  the ledger/graph papers and the ABC die cuts in this collection :)
