Scrapbooks and Cards Today publication !!!!!

Happy rainy-wet Sunday ....I feel like scrapping again today and maybe catch a movie with the boys this afternoon. I think Felix is feeling better today, poor thing had many visits to the bathroom yesterday and I had lots of extra laundry :(. So far his breakfast is staying in his tummy :).

Can you imagine how happy I was to get an email from Becky Fleck for a request for one of MY layouts !!! It had been a very long time since my last publication from them .... Winter 2008 !
This is the layout they wanted for the reader's gallery !!!

Happy Saturday...school's out for the summer !!! Yay ! The boys are so happy...but little Felix woke up sick this morning.....I guess I'll be doing a lot of laundry today :(

I have a layout created for my DT work at Bird's of a Feather Kit Co today.

The big challenge as a Canadian gal was to use these patriotic themed Authentique papers to create a "neutral" layout. I used a sketch from the Authentique blog ( it's for the June sketch challenge ).

May Birds of a Feather layouts

This is the May kit from Birds of a Feather kit co. It features supplies from Glitz Design, 7 Gypsies ,Heidi Swapp and Pink Paislee.  It's a travel themed kit and it's just beautiful.

Basically Bare Mini Album

Yes, you read it right  I . MADE . A . MINI. ALBUM !!!!! Kristine, if you are reading this ...you were right , I can do this, not as good as you, but here it is !!!
The Nikki Sivils design team were given a generous supply of Basically Bare goodies a few months ago and we were asked to create something for today's blog post over on the Nikki Sivils blog.

We just came back from Disney and it was my kids first time flying, so I thought to create a mini album about their first flight . The Exit Here collection was just perfect for this project.

This photo was taken at 6 am !!! (we had to get up at 4:30 ).

I used the Basically Bare gears on this clear page and decorated both sides.

Here's the other side.

I think Felix was a little nervous on this photo :)

Tess-Tess ( little sheep) made the trip with us !

as well as Gabriel's "Grimace" collection !!

I stored a few extra photos and the kids  Disney access cards in the large kraft envelope.

I did remove the canvas page of this book and hand cut a star out of the fabric.

It's all in the smile

Hello once again.....WOW!! 2 posts in one day !!
I created this layout of my niece for the My Mind's Eye blog challenge. The challenge is to use up those super cute brads they make ....I find it hard to use them ,because they are so very pretty in the packages :)
The supplies are from the On the Bright Side collection and the brads from an older Christmas collection (I've been hoarding these :):) !!!).
