I'm so happy to share this card with you today, I created it with the new/trendy Diagonal Chevron die set.
...and away we go..
Spellbinders Supplies:
S4-453-Diagonal Chevron
GC-001-Spellbinders®-Grand Calibur Die Cutting and Embossing Machine
Cross Promotional Partners:
Bazzill Basics Papers®- White cardstock
Beacon Adhesives,Inc.- Zip Dry glue
Fancy Pants Designs- Nautical collection papers and die cuts
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®-EZ Runner and 3D foam squares
Simple Stories- A Charmed Life- Navy stripes
- Homespun- Red dots
Step 1- Cut /Emboss Diagonal Chevron frame and insert in white cardstock.
Step 2- Create 4 3/4" X 6" card base in white cardstock, adhere slightly smaller striped paper with tape runner.
Cut a 4 1/2" X 5 1/2" of navy paper to adhere under die cut .
Cut/Emboss lower portion of die insert in red paper.
I love that the small chevron pieces are embossed !
Adhere, small chevron pieces as shown with 3D foam squares.
Adhere Fancy Pants die cuts with 3D foam.

ReplyDeleteAn absolutely amazing card here too. I love the nautical look for it sooo beautiful, and the way you raised the chewrons is a fabulous idea, and it gives sooo much texture to the card here. I love iit.

ReplyDeleteLove this card ... it's bright, colorful, cheerful and full of summer fun. Living on an island, this is definitely a card that goes with the nautical adventures here. This also can be used for a person/family relocating to a new home.

ReplyDeleteYour card is fabulous!!!!! Love this new die. It is so contemporary and fresh. I didn't think I was going to like it so much, until I saw how cool it is to pop the cutouts back into the pattern. Really adds alot of flare!!!
