Bo Bunny -White space challenge

Hello peeps :)
A quick share of a layout I made for the white space challenge over on the Bo Bunny blog. I used the On the Go collection for this layout. I love these fun colors and patterns !!

 The alphas are Thickers from the Amy Tangerine collection.

 

 and the mini alphas are from October Afternoon ( Yay !! ), they finally made orange ones !!!

 

 

I  got the idea for this layout from a sketch I had seen on Pinterest , I had just taken a quick sketch of it and now I can't find it to give credit ,grrrrr...from now on I pin everything I  love :).

We just got back from camping...I'm off  to do a MOUNTAIN of laundry !!!

Adventure Zone

Hello scrappy friends, I have a quick share of a layout I created for the Jillibean Bean Soup July sketch challenge. I always love Nicole's sketches, they make me work a bit out of my comfort zone and I love that !!!

Here's the sketch.

I used the Macho Nacho Soup collection and a bit of the Game Day Chili Soup for this layout of the boys at Disney in May.

 The small banner was created by trimming some of the neckties from the "3 Parts Muscle" paper.

Happy Saturday !!! So glad it's the weekend and it going to be beautiful !! Poor Gabriel does indeed have the chicken pox :(....hoping Felix won't :). They both had the vaccination, so it shouldn't be too bad .

Guest Designer at Scrap Africa

Hi and welcome to my blog....yes, I said Africa.... it sure is a long way from New Brunswick !!!
I was totally honored and very surprised when I received an emailed asking me to be part of this week's challenge. The challenge is to create a project dedicated to the boys/men in our lives.
I chose to make 2 layouts ,one for each of my little dudes.

He's the funny one in the family and I really do think he is Simply Amazing!!

Supplies for this layout are from the Macho-Nacho Soup from Jillibean Soup .

 

 I created the "Sunburst" behind the title block by hand cutting a few of the neckties and adhering them in a semi circle on dark brown cardstock and trimming the edges .

 Gabriel often says "this was the best day ever" so I had to include this sticker to my layout.

Hope he never walks up to someone and says this !!! I think  he's confidant enough to do it !! I'll have to keep an eye on this handsome devil :)

My last layouts for Birds of a Feather

Hi scrappy friends, today I'm sharing the last 2 layouts I've created with the July kit from Birds of a Feather Kit Co. It's was a fun 6 months and I'd like to thank Amy for having me on her team !!!
I created both of these layouts with the same sketch ( one that I had gotten from my friend Kristine at a Creative Scrappers crop in April- this sketch was designed by Jenny Evans...I loved it so much ,I've already used it 3 times !!!)

I used the Authentique -Glory papers from the kit for this one.

Then I used the Game Day Chili supplies from Jillibean Soup from the rest of the kit ...for a totally different look !!

A new favorite

Hello scrappy people :)
Thanks to my friend Kristine and a lovely comment from Jenny from Boys Rule Scrapbook kit website, I discovered a new place to play ... and it's for boys only...Hello !!!! a perfect site for me !! and the kits look awesome too and they post great sketch every few weeks. I decided to use this one for my layout of Gabriel.

    You may know Jenny Evans from Creative Scrappers :) Love her sketches !!

Yesterday ...I just played with papers...no deadlines or assignments . I used the monochromatic challenge over at My Mind's Eye blog and dug out of the yellow goodies I had on hand and had a ball making this layout. I don't do monochromatic layouts often....maybe I should ...love how this one turned out :)
