The gift of Gab-Jillibean Soup

Hello, a quick post tonight as I get ready for Disney in the morning !!! The boys went to bed at 7:15 without a peep !!!
I created this layout for the Jillibean Soup button challenge :)

I created a scalloped edge using small green buttons and glue dots :) I also used some paper and corrugated buttons.

Spring beauty- May kit from Birds of a Feather

Hello and welcome :) I'm always so glad to see crafty people visiting my blog :) Thanks for the lovely comments you leave, they really make my day :) Today, I'm just sharing a quick layout I created with the Bird's of a Feather May kit.

This kit features supplies from the Amy Tangerine -Sketchbook collection ,as well as She Art goodies from Pink Paislee....so fun and bright for the coming of Spring !!!

Glue Arts +Nikki Sivils swap-day 2

 Hello and welcome to my blog today , this week the Nikki Sivils DT has a cross promotion with

 Glue Arts adhesives. They sent us all some goodies to play with and this is what I created with the Noah collection .

I adhered the background papers with the Glue Glider Pro . The unfinished frame is from Michael's (I think I only paid a few dollars for it !!! )

 

And used the Foam blanks to raise the banners,stars and the little truck. I love that I could cut the foam adhesive in the shape I needed and they REALLY stick !!! Love that...I will be buying more of this product !! Thank you Glue Arts for the awesome supplies :)

Crop and Create weekend fun !!!

Hello to my scrappy friends !!! This weekend I had the pleasure of spending time with around 120 very happy women at a Crop and Create  here in Moncton. This event is hosted by the very talented, sweet and funny team at Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine !!!!

 The crew....Tara Mowat Thynne,Vicki Boutin, Isabelle (scrappy friend) ,Me, Kelly Goree, Catherine Tachdjan (Founder-Publisher of the Scrapbook and Cards Toady magazine),behind me is Jill Yegerlehner (owner of Jillibean Soup) and Kimber McGray (card maker wizard !!! from Jillibean Soup),Kathy Thompson and Leica Forrest.
Don't I look happy....I was just so giddy to be standing next to these talented women.

and these 2 women wowed me !!!!

 Jill and Kimber from Jillibean Soup.....from now on ,every time I create with Jillibean products ,I will think of how kind,sweet,talented and funny these two are !!! Jill even signed a bunch of my layouts that had been "Soup Spotted" on the blog !! So sweet :) Gabriel and Felix thought that was really cool !!

Catherine had a little tag contest going during the crop,we were to decorate and write a quote or saying. This is what I came up with :)

She really liked it so I gave it to her.....hopefully it will remind her of the great time we all had at this crop !!

I also had a bit of time to create a few layouts :)......spent A LOT of time chatting !!!

I used the sketch provided at the crop from Page Maps and the awesome Neopolitan Bean Bisque collection from Jillibean Soup for this layout of Felix :)

This one was for a Color Suite challenge.

Supplies for this one are from Fancy Pants and Jillibean Soup.
I need to put the finishing touches on an other project and I'll share it soon :).

Channelling my inner girlie-girl side

Hello to my scrappy friends. Those of you that visit my blog on a regular basis , will notice how different these projects are from my normal style( I think I've done a heritage page once !!)..... It's always good to try new stuff !! These projects were created with the April kit from Birds of a Feather Kit Co. The kit features supplies from the Prima -Almanac collection.

This kit came with this beautiful dusty pink rosette pin,  I just clipped it on the card for my very girlie-girl niece to wear on her favorite T shirt or dress :)

Having fun with PSA Essentials

Happy Easter everyone !!! I totally forgot to post this yesterday....I was busy getting my Disney surprise ready (my kids found out this morning that they are going to Disney World in 3 weeks) !!! Best Easter egg hunt ever !!
Just look at them :) I've kept this a secret since last summer !! So glad it's finally out !!

 

Now on to scrapbooking !!!! PSA Essentials sent the Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker design team  a fun stamper and peel and stick stamps to play with this month. I had never even heard of them and  just loved,loved,loved to use that stamper (I felt like a school librarian-stamp,stamp,stamping on paper !!!)

 

 I decide to use the cute little dress stamp and the Audrey collection for this Mother's Day gift bag and tag:)

Here's a close up of the tag :) I also used some twine from the Twinery .

New Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker layouts

When Nikki first introduced the Noah collection on her blog,  I  knew that this photo of Gabriel as a 2 year old would be perfect for it. I love this photo (I've used it a few times !!!) isn't he cute ;) xo

This one was created with the Messages collection. I thought it would be fun to created a school layout with  the ledger/graph papers and the ABC die cuts in this collection :)
