I had a great time with my scrappy friends this weekend and this is one of the layouts I created . Kristine gave us this sketch for us to use as a challenge (won 2nd place !!!) .

Hi there !!! Today I am sharing my first projects created for my DT work over at Birds of a Feather Kit Co.
The February kit includes supplies from Basic Grey - Kissing Booth collection and I had a fun time creating these ....so much girlie stuff !!!

I got the idea for this layout with one simple little "I love mail" die cut !

Next I created the flower for this Valentine's day card by using hearts hand cut from the Heart Breaker pattern paper as petals.

As many of you know Felix , has a strange attachment to this little toy sheep he named Tess-Tess. He has many,many,many stuffed toy sheep, but this one is his favorite .....we lost it again for 3-4 days , I found it under a Lego booklet in his room last night !!! I swear this thing has 9 lives !!!

I'm one of the new DOGHOUSE DIVA'S !!!! ( and I didn't need to have a dog or have to be a diva!!)

WOW !!! 2012 is shaping up to be a great year for this happy little scrapbooker. Two days ago, I received a call from Ms Nikki and just about fainted , I was shaking so hard, I almost dropped the phone (twice) in the pot of pasta I was cooking at the time :) and my French accent was full on !!! ( It happens when I'm nervous :) ) Sorry about that Nikki and thank you again for one of the best calls ever !!!

Merry Christmas to all of you !!!!

So sorry for posting this Creative Scrappers layout a day late.....forgot that yesterday was Sunday ;)

My youngest was sick and we had to change our diner plans mid-day !!! He's still sleeping and I just woke up with a cold !!!

Anyway,here is sketch # 188 !!

I love Nicole's sketch and her work....this was a fun challenge for me !!

The photo (the ONLY) one with me in it , is from last Christmas at my parents house. The supplies are from Simple Stories -Year-o-graphy collection.
That's it for now,my little man just got up. Hope you are all having a great time relaxing today ...I plan on staying in my PJ's and playing with Legos and watching movies with my little guys !!!

L'hiver en Acadie

I used the Smooch Spritz in Ice Rink on the wood grain background.

and the Adhesives snowflake design and glitter in Ocean Spray on this large snowflake.

and of course the Imaginisce Santa's Littler Helper collection :)

I also made this small gift tag using the Gloss glue on the edges and sprinkled them with glitter ,then I spritzed the entire tag with Smooch Spritz in Ice Rink and also some black ink on the edges of the red snowflake patterned paper.

I totally had fun participating in this blog hop, thank you so much Clear Snap for all of the wonderful goodies :):):)

Christmas inspirations-Home Decor

I don't know what the weather is like where you live, but here in southern New Brunswick it's not at all looking like Christmas outside.....it's raining very hard with heavy winds right now !!! Yuck !!!

Anyway...inside my house... it's very festive :)

Yesterday I made this sweet 3X3 cube ornament using the super cute Echo Park Season's Greetings collection.

I used twine from The Twinery to "sew" all piece of paper covered chipboards together.

How cool is this label ...Maple Syrup - New Brunswick,Canada !!! I sent Crate Paper an email thanking them for thinking of us out here in New Brunswick !!!

Imaginisce Snag 'Em stamps + AC inks

Hello there ....a quick card share today that I made for the Imaginisce and American Crafts blog post this week on the blog. AC sent each of us 2 large ink pads to use with our stamps (so very kind of them, thank you American Crafts !!)

Good morning ! I always look forward to Sunday mornings to check out the beautiful layouts on the Creative Scrappers blog, while having a great cup of coffee !!! This morning I have this layout to share . It was created using this beautiful sketch by Jill Sarginson and Bo Bunny's Blast Off collection ( and My Little Bit Of Whimsy pins....love them !!)

Your new room

This spring. I finally got around to re decorating Felix's room.....he loves it !!! I was so happy because painting those stripes took FOREVER !!! I must have used 2-3 rolls of painters tape!!!

and now to share what I did last night....

I saw U2 for the second time....this time on my home turf !!! I had seen them in Chicago in September 2009 (the first North American concert of the 360 tour) and now last night for the final concert of that tour !!!! It was incredible. What made this night so special was that my sisiter and brother were there too !!! Love you guys!!

Hi and welcome !!!! The sun has finally come out in southern New Brunswick, it's still not very warm but at least it's a little brighter outside !! And SCHOOL'S OUT FOR THE SUMMER !!!! darn, now I have that song in my head!!!

Imaginisce Fashion Accessories Mini Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome !!! You have probably arrived here from Robyn's blog (Isn't she talented !!). I am so happy you could join us for this mini blog hop ! I would love to share with you these fun little hair accessories I created for my 5 year old niece (she's REALLY girlie-girlie). I was a little nervous about this assignment because being the mother of boys, I don't get to do girlie things too often !

These are some of the flowers I used for these clips and headbands. You can see the entire Imaginisce floral collections HERE.

The headbands come in a set of three.

Alligator clips

The Twist Daddies come in 3 sizes and are to be used with the i Top.

These were really easy to make, I just layered a few fabric flowers over the metal post of the alligator clip or headband and added one of the Twist Daddies covered with fabric ( I used portions of flowers).They just twist on!!! Then I added a bit of bling from the large assortment of crystals and gems found HERE .

and VOILÀ ....custom made hair accessories fit for a princess !!!

She really loved her accessories and put one in her hair right away and I saw her at the supermarket yesterday and she was wearing the purple one...it made my day !!

I just wanted to quickly share my Upsy Daisy projects for this month.

I love these photos of Felix picking daisies for me, he was 2 1/2.I used the Man About Town 2 collection for this project. I love the mix of greens and blues in this line.

For this next project, we were asked to use this ad as inspiration....

I chose to use the circle shapes for my layout of Felix with his grandma. I used the same paper line but with a dark background.

Thank You beary much tag....I plan to attach this one to a gift basket for friends who are renting us their cabin for a week this summer. I used the Happy Camper collection as well as the red dot paper and stickers from my Echo Park kit !!! They go soooooo well together ! I made all of the tag shapes using my Cricut Expression with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.

Congratulations,Baby Girl tag ...this one to be used on a gift for Maria, Gabriel's after school caregiver,she just a baby girl called Annabelle !! I used the Little Cutie girl collection with the green striped paper from Echo Park and both of the Spellbinders....so fun !!

and finally I made this one last night using the Berrylicious collection / Echo Park goodies and would love to dedicate it to my wonderful fellow team members. They have been very supportive of me this week. One of my work friends suddenly lost her 18 year old daughter on Monday. Thank you all for your hugs and prayers for my friend Chantalle and her family.

June,already ?? Wow ! I'm so glad summer is here, it's been a reeeeeeally looooooooooong winter !!! The challenge for this month at Imaginisce is to use this image from Pinterest as your inspiration and lyrics from a Cliff Richards song (see below) ! How fun is that !!!

and the rules:

- Create a card, layout or off the page project using at least 75% of Imaginisce products.

I mostly used supplies from the Happy Camper collection and little bits from the Animal Crackers and Scooter's Vacation collections. I was inspired by the circle shapes of those yummy looking frosted cookies for this layout as well the "fun and laughter" lyrics from the song for my title and a wonderful sketch from Creative Scrappers !

Hi ladies, an other gray/rainy day here in New Brunswick !!! We haven't seen the sun this month for more than a few hours !!! Hopefully it will come out later !!
These next layouts were for my DT work over at Upsy Daisy Designs this month. The theme Kim came up with was to use a song title or lyrics in your title. I used Madonna's "Celebrate" song title for my first layout. I was also the host this week on the blog and shared how I made this fun plaid paper design with the CUPCAKE collection for my layout !Go have a look here.

This little cutie was featured in a calendar at my husband's workplace last year, he was mister June !!! :) I used a variety of different collections from Upsy Daisy for this one.....thanks again Tracey (fellow team mate) for sharing some of your goodies !! :)

Hi there, I have a few projects to share today using the new colors of Roly Posies.
I used these cool colors for this layout as well as the Little Cutie collection.

and the warm colors for this Mother's Day card.

and these fabulous fabric Roly Posies !!!! I love the denim ones and made a little pin to dress up a plain white T.

A new adventure with Let's Capture Our Memories !!!

Happy Sunday !!! Feeling tired today from a 2 day crop this weekend here in Moncton. It was hosted by Let's Capture Our Memories and it was a blast !!!
I'm sooooooo excited to share this new venture with you today...I was asked by my friend Kristine Davidson (of Creative Scrappers ) and Tanya the owner of Let's Capture Our Memories (LCOM) to be their new LAYOUT KIT DESIGNER !!! Both of these ladies are so sweet to work with ...I could not say no !!
